disabilities, visual impairment) or medical conditions that make
learning new skills difficult and who have some computing skills.
What does the course cover?
- Introduction to the computer
- Computer housekeeping, security and virus protection
- Internet
- Online services – banking, shopping, paying bills
Entry requirements for this
course:
Learners will need to have some prior computing knowledge and to attend a pre-course assessment.
How will I learn?
You will be able to work at your own pace with support from tutors. You will be able to agree any specific targets at the start of the course. A range of specialist computer equipment will be available to help you.
Cost of course?
This course is supported by WBC and free of tuition charges to eligible learners. There is a £10 registration fee.
