Adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who wish to learn
to use digital cameras. (Entry Level 1, 2 or 3)
Term 1: Digital Photography
- To use a digital camera
- To download the photographs to a computer and to correct red-eye
- To resize, crop, place and print your photographs
- To create a multi media roadshow
Term 2: Computerised Art
- To draw simple images with the computer
- To design wrapping paper, DVD covers and cartons for a drink
Term 3: Presenting Personal Information
- To produce a CV
- To prepare a record of achievement folder (to include work from previous terms)
- To produce personalised stationery
Entry requirements for this
course:
Learners will need to have some prior computer knowledge and either have a letter of referral from Ravenswood Village or be assessed for suitability prior to enrolment.
Cost of course?
The course is supported by WBC and free of tuition charges for eligible learners both from Ravenswood Village and local communities. There is a £10 registration fee each term.
